Description

Introducing an incredibly powerful HRVanalysis tool for smartphones.

HRVxt is a Bluetooth 4.0 enabled app that has immense power andflexibility enabling previously unimaginable real timeanalysis.

App has been tested with the following sensors: Zovandia Owl,Polar H7, Zephyr HxM

The app provides the flexibility for everything from real timefeedback to a athlete in competition, to long term analysis of HRVduring sleep.

Key Features:
- User selectable analysis parameters to monitor
HR
RR
SDNN
RMSSD
SDSD
pNN50
SD1
SD2
SD1/SD2
LF
HF
LF/HF

- User selectable ectopic beat removal power
- User selectable length of historical data to use for parametercalculation.
- update rate of 3 seconds
- App continues to work in the background giving full access to allother smartphone features

NOW AVAILABLE, HRVxtPro, which includes save to filecapabilities and additional analysis parameters.

App has been tested on Samsung S3, S4 and S5.

14-12-29: Version 1.2 incorporates the following changes
- Rate of change bargraph for each parameter
- LF, HF now calculated using Fast Fourier Transform rather thanLomb Scargle

HRVpro has all the features of the freeversion and is greatly enhanced by the following:-- Real time display of LF/HF- Enhanced ectopic beat elimination- All data saved to files for offline analysis- Improved stabilityEctopic beats are captured by Lagrangian interpolation of thedata stream.LF/HF is calculated by resampling the dataset at 4Hz themapplying Welch's periodogram through a 256 point FFT using a 16sample wide window and an 8 sample overlap. The uncorrected raw R-R samples are saved in a file named"year-month-day-hour-minute-second-r2r.txt"The HRV parameters calculated and displayed during operation aresaved in a file named"year-month-day-hour-minute-second-sd1.txt"The filenames are the time the program was started and are savedin the directory HRVpro/data.Both files can be imported into Excel and the r2r file can bedirectly opened in Kubios.Next steps: Plot LF/HF as skinny bars withing the SD1 plotNotes1. This app is for general interest only and SHOULD NOT be used forany clinical purpose.2. CONSULT YOUR PHYSICIAN before undertaking any strenuousactivity3. This app requires a Polar Wearlink+ Transmitter With Bluetooth(Available from Amazon)- NOTE If you have a Bluetooth Low Energy Chest-strap such as PolarH7 or Zephyr HxM check out the new app HRVxt4. App was developed and tested on Samsung S35. Some users of the free version of the app have reported oddbehavior such as failing to connect properly (with the displayremaining at 'listening') and the app displaying improbably highvalues. Both of these conditions have been seen during developmentof the app and appear to be an Andriod related issue ( when thedevice gets itself in this state, 'Cardio Training' fails aswell).Recovery from this condition can be achieved by shutting the devicedown completely then restarting.
