Description

Do you find your smartwatch's built-inbacklight timeout period actually quite short? Wouldn’t it be niceif you could adjust the backlight timeout to have the screen stayon a little longer? (So that not only you, but also your friendscan marvel at that new watchface you just installed...)

StayLit Wear lets you adjust the time that the light stays on afterthe watch has been waked. You can select a value for how much timewill elapse from the moment that the watch has been waked from dimmode (i.e. by having tapped the screen, moved the watch, or pressedthe button) to it being allowed to revert to dim mode again. Choosefrom a range of values of up to 5 minutes, or until you switch thescreen off again.
NEW: “indefinitely+” mode: the light stays on until you switch itoff, but is also switched off when you lower your arm or turn thewatch away from you. That way, the light will be on exactly whenyou need it. (Note that also in this mode, StayLit respects theindividual light timeout of apps like Google Fit, Maps, orRuntastic.)

USAGE: In order to adjust the backlight timeout, open the StayLitWear app on your watch. This will bring up the Longer Backlightsettings. Select a setting in the list by tapping on it. DeactivateStayLit Wear by selecting "off“ in this list.

INSTALLATION TROUBLESHOOTING:
Wear 2.0: If you are not in the Play Store on the watch, the watchshould prompt you to open the Play Store entry of StayLit in theon-watch Play Store and install StayLit directly from there.

Lockscreen QuickSilentKey 1.25 APK
Lollipop QuickSilentKey offers the fastest andmost convenient way to put your Lollipop phone into silent mode. Nomore pulling down menus and tapping buttons – switch the phone tosilent mode (and back) simply by holding down the volume keys. Andbest of all: it works that simple in the lockscreen, too! With QuickSilentKey, you can switch the phone to a silent modeof your choice by long pressing the Volume Down key. (This can be“No interruptions” (Samsung: “Mute”), “Priority interruptions only”(for non-Samsung devices), or Vibrate.) Switch the phone back tonormal (“All”) by long pressing the Volume Up key. Normal pressesof the volume keys will change the ringer (or media) volume asusual (however not in the lockscreen). QuickSilentKey even allowsyou to switch between Sound, Mute and Vibrate modes using nothingbut the volume keys of your phone! (see below)USAGE: When first enabling Quick Silent Key from the app’swindow, you will be guided to the Accessibility Settings. There, enable Quick Silent Key as an accessibility service (at the veryend of the menu). (Non-Samsung users may also have to grant the app“Notification access” – details see below.) Now, you can enable“Toggle interruption mode by long pressing volume keys”. Next, choose which interruption mode will be activated/deactivated bylong pressing the volume keys. The default is “No interruptions” /“Mute”. This means that whenever you long press the Volume Downkey, the device will switch to “None” (Samsung: “Mute”) mode. Andwhenever you long press the Volume Up key, it will switch back to“All” (Samsung: “Sound”) mode. And likewise with “Priorityinterruptions” or “Vibrate”, if you chose those options. (In theoption ‘Vibrate’, if you long press Volume Down again when alreadyin Vibrate mode, the device will switch to ‘None’ / ‘Mute’ mode. That way, you can easily switch between Sound, Mute and Vibratemodes using just your phone’s volume keys.) By normal pressing thevolume keys, you can adjust the ringer volume as usual (except whenin the lockscreen). Note that what is different from thepre-Lollipop way of silencing the device (holding down Volume Down, and watching the volume go all the way down to zero) is that thisswitch now happens instantly. Also, when switching back to normalby long pressing Volume Up, your old volume level will be restored– no more need to reset it exactly each time you unmute yourdevice...NOTE: For QuickSilentKey to work, you will need to enable it torun as an “accessibility service”. Please don’t be scared by thewarning there – all that QuickSilentKey monitors are presses of thevolume keys. Nothing else will be monitored, and absolutely nothingwill be stored or transmitted! (Also, if you are not a Samsung userand wish to have the device switched to “No interruptions” mode, you will have to grant “Notification access” to QuickSilentKey. Todo so, go to Settings > My Device > Sounds andnotifications).Problems/suggestions? Please email!
