CAUTION : If you use a Cover that constantly covers your phone'sproximity Sensor, this app will not work for you. The proximitysensor needs to be exposed in order for it to work.

If you're often annoyed by the fact that your phone happens toring at the wrong time or the wrong place, if you just don't wantit to ring at all while it's in your pocket, or if you often forgetto deactivate the Silent mode before you take it with you, thenthis app is definitely for you.

It uses Instant "Status Change" Triggers from your Phone'sproximity sensor to know whether it's in your Pocket, your Bag, orwhether you have put it Face-Down. It does NOT constantly monitorthe Phone's proximity sensor, and thus it is battery friendly.

So, when you put it in your pocket or face-down, it switches toVibration. When you take it back out, or turn it face-up, itreturns EXACTLY to the state it was, whatever it was. Even if itwas in Silent mode, which brings us to the following :

I gives you the option to Choose whether it should Override theSilent Mode. If the Override is off, it will stay in Silent modeeven inside your pocket. If on, then it will automatically switchto Vibration, and return to Silent once it's back out.

After Reboot, it returns to the exact state it was, so you canjust Turn it On and Forget about it.

The UI is minimalistic, plain and simple, and it is made so thatyou can use it with just your Thumb.

Simplicity above allIt Monitors WiFi's INTERNET Connection Status in thebackgroundby checking every X minutes, WITHOUT draining yourbattery.I have tested it by setting the timer to check every 1 minutefora whole day. At the end of the day it didn't even show up intheBattery Power Distribution list (Settings/Battery). I believethat'sconclusive. The battery consumption and the phone'sresources arepractically down to ZERO. And I say "practically"because an actualzero is not even theoretically possible. It wouldhave to defy thelaws of physics..It is based on a set of routines that are activated byinstanttriggers from your phone, do what they do and thenimmediatelydeactivate themselves. The ONLY thing that works in thebackgroundin the end, is just a timer that triggers a millisecondslongchecking sequence. The only scenario in which the checkinglastslonger than a few milliseconds, is when your WiFi does nothave aninternet connection. That's normal since a longer timeoutisnecessary. You will never know it's happening anyway..So what does it do?..:- When your WiFi has Internet:It does nothing. And it shouldn't. You will never know it'sthere.The whole concept is to turn it ON and forget about it. Itwillonly bother you when there is a problem.- When your WiFi does NOT have Internet:A notification will appear on your notification bar accompaniedbyyour notification sound and vibration. No annoying LEDs.. Thenitwill reset the timer.- When you are NOT connected to a Network OR your WiFiisOFF:It will stop the timer immediately and wait for the nextinstanttrigger from your phone.- When you re-connect to a Network:It will immediately check the network for internet, inform youIFthere is a problem and then re-activate the timer regardlesstheoutcome.- When you press OFF:Everything stops. The timer stops, and the trigger inputsarecut-off.- When you press ON:First it checks for Network Connection, then for Internet, andthenIF you are connected it re-activates the timer.I have also put a Colored "Last Check" time indicator for yourownpsychological reasons.. So when you feel the irresistible urgetocheck that it has actually checked, you can open the UI and seeitstaring back at you with a colored indication thatsays:"..relax!..the app works just fine.."The colored time indicator shows you the TIME when the LASTchecktook place.. The Color shows what the result was.The colors:GREEN: Last time it checked, your Internet was fine.RED: Last time it checked, you did NOT have internet.BLUE: The time when it saw that you are not connected to aWiFinetwork.So that's it! And by the way the UI was made so that you canoperateit with just your thumb. Minimalistic, plain and simple.And itcontinues as it was after reboot.I hope you enjoy it!P.S. While the checking routine runs (milliseconds if online),theUI (if open) is paused.
