Ahmad Ibrahim Primary School (AIPS) setupin1995, is named after Mr Ahmad Ibrahim, Member ofParliamentforSembawang, who served as Minister for Health and thenMinisterforLabour in the early years of Singapore’s nationhood.It stands as a reminder of the courage, determination andprideofour leaders who dedicated their lives to the building ofournation.When AIPS first started functioning, it had 23 classesfromP1 – P6,with pupils and staff mainly from Sembawang Schoolwhichclosed itsdoors in November 1994. The school went singlesessionin 2003, afterthe completion of PRIME (Programme forRebuildingand ImprovingExisting Schools).
