Ahmad Ibrahim Primary School (AIPS) set upin1995, is named after Mr Ahmad Ibrahim, Member of ParliamentforSembawang, who served as Minister for Health and then MinisterforLabour in the early years of Singapore’s nationhood.It stands as a reminder of the courage, determination andprideof our leaders who dedicated their lives to the building ofournation. When AIPS first started functioning, it had 23 classesfromP1 – P6, with pupils and staff mainly from Sembawang Schoolwhichclosed its doors in November 1994. The school went singlesessionin 2003, after the completion of PRIME (Programme forRebuildingand Improving Existing Schools).
