電話とSMSを着信したときに、電話機を見なくても発信元が判断できるアプリを作りました。それが、このモールス着信バイブと音でお知らせ「モールス着信」です。電話が掛かってきたとき、またはSMSを受信したときに、その発信元である電話番号をモールス信号にてお知らせします。モールス信号は、短点と呼ばれる短い発信音(一般的に「ト」と表現)と長点と呼ばれる長い発信音(一般的に「ツー」と表現)の2種類で表現します。電話番号は10種類の数字なので、短点と長点を組み合わせた10種類のモールス信号を記憶できていれば簡単に発信元を区別できます。下記が数字10種類のモールス信号となります。短点を「・」、長点を「－」で表現します。０は、－－－－－１は、・－－－－２は、・・－－－３は、・・・－－４は、・・・・－５は、・・・・・６は、－・・・・７は、－－・・・８は、－－－・・９は、－－－－・いかがでしょうか。規則性があり、憶えやすいですね。モールス信号をどんな方法であなたに伝えるのかというと、バイブレーター(振動)と音(通常はプッシュホンでおなじみのトーン音)です。この二つは設定により、どちらか一つまたは同時に動作させることができます。　また、着信時にすぐに電話番号のモールス信号が動作すると、最初の部分を聞き逃してしまう恐れがあるため、「前振り」と呼ばれる機能があります。電話とSMSで異なる前振りを動作させることにより、つぎに動作する電話番号のモールス信号を聞き分けるための心構えができるわけです。前振りは、バイブと音のどちらでも動作させることができます。電話番号のすべての桁(通常は10桁または11桁)をモールスで表現することが基本ですが、下4桁のみを表現させることも設定により可能です。すぐに会話をする必要がある電話の着信に重点を置く場合には、下4桁のほうが良いかもしれません。
