Theplagueyou guess? Bingo! The plague had a much more devastatingeffect onthe dragons compared to the vikings - which left thedragonkingdoms weak and vulnerable and on the run, having lost somany oftheir own. The speed and skill of the vikings as well theirblitzstrategy was no match for the dragons. Racing for their livesthatwere hanging by a thread left dragons to scramble for alastingpeace with the occassional clash that led to a viking bashor two -but for the most part revenge was dead. Talking amongstthemselves- peace was the best, if not only option on the table (agreatcrime to many dragons leaving many kicking themselves).
