It iswritten in thecommentary of Majma’ul Bayan whoever recites Surah YaSin solelyfor seeking the pleasure of ALLAH, all his sins will beforgivenand he will be given the reward equal to the reward ofreciting thewhole Qur’an 12 times. Drinking the water in which this Surah hasbeendissolved cures one of a thousand types of illnesses. TheHolyProphet (Peace Be Upon Him) said that everything has its heartandthe heart of the Holy Qur’an is Surah Ya Sin. He (Peace BeUponHim) also said that if this Surah is recited in a graveyardthenall punishment is lifted, for that day, from all the graves andthereciter gets the reward equal to the sum of all the goodactionsperformed by all those who are buried in that graveyard. Itisnarrated from Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (A.S) that whoever recitedthisSurah in the morning will be protected from all calamitiesandproblems during the day and whoever recites it at night willbeprotected from Shaitan by seventy thousand angels. Recitationofthis Surah saves one from the squeezing of the grave and itsothertorments. Passing the difficult stages in the hereafter willalsobe made easy for him. The sixth Imam (A.S) also said thatdrinkingthis Surah after writing it in a mixture of rose water andsaffronfor seven days (it has to be written once for each day)makes aperson have such a good memory that he will never forgetwhat hehears. He will win debates and will gain great respect andstatus.If given to a woman, her breast-milk will increase. KeepingthisSurah in one’s possession as a talisman acts as a protectionfromthe jealousy of people. The wearer remains safe from theevildesigns of men and Jinn. It also acts as a cure from disease.
