Surah Hud 1.2
This Surah was revealed in Makkah and has a total of 123ayaat(verses). Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.) has said that whoeverrecitesthis Surah every Friday, his accounts will on the Day ofJudgement,be taken together with that of the Prophets and all hissins willbe forgiven. It is narrated from the Holy Prophet (S.)that theperson who recites Surah Hud will get a reward equal to thenumberof people who were there at the time of the Holy Prophet (S)andhis rank will be like of the martyrs. The accounting for hisdeedswill also be made easy for him. Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.)hassaid that writing this Surah on a sheepskin and keeping it inone’spossession at all times makes one so courageous and boldthatnobody can defeat him in combat. Whoever sees him will befilledwith fear.

If recited seven times on the grave of a believer,hissins will be forgiven.
