Description

Using a long, complex formula, PokémonCaptureChance Calc will determine your exact probability ofcapturing aPokémon given various different circumstances that youcan control!

Factors include:

Wild Pokémon's HP
Wild Pokémon's Catch Rate
Type of Poké Ball used (includes all balls!)
Number of Pokémon registered as caught in the National Pokédex(yes, this matters)
O-Power or Pass Power used
Type of grass you are walking in (Gen V only)
And various other Poké Ball specific choices!

This calculator works for Generation I through GenerationVIgames, but there is a slight twist from generation togeneration.Choose whichever game you are playing!

Additional Features:

All Gens:
- View different Sprites for each generation
- Tap the Pokémon to make it shiny! (Gens II through V)
- Adjust color sliders to alter a Pokémon's color
- Hear Pokémon cries

Gens II through VI:
- Tap to see a shiny Pokémon!

Things you should know:

- The app does not include certain animated spritesfromGeneration VI
- Certain sprites in the earlier generations have awhitebackground, so adjusting the color slider will affect thecolor ofthe background as well
- You can search for Pokémon either by name or by number
- Typing in either the beginning or the end of a Pokémon's namewilldo the trick :3

Other things:
- Certain Poké Balls do not function in game as intended (duetoerrors in the games' programming). In most cases, this isaccountedfor.
- Certain Poké Balls are obtainable only in certaingenerations.Using a Poké Ball outside of a generation it isavailable is, firstof all, kinda silly, and, second of all, possible in the app, so gofor it. Weird results may occur. Examplesof such Poké Ballsinclude those made by Kurt (the apricorn dude) inGen II and Gen IVgames.
- Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are remakes of the GenerationIIIgames, but are calculated as Gen VI (because they are newer).SomePokémon in these games have slightly altered catch rates. Thesearenot accounted for, and these Pokémon include Groudon,Kyogre,Dialga, Palkia, Reshiram, Zekrom (catch rate of 3), Rayquaza(catchrate of 45), and some others that have not beendetermined.
-The size of the app is large due to the sheer (cold. Hehepoképuns)amount of sprites included (especially the animatedones).

Disclaimer:

These calculations are approximations. They are not100%accurate, but they are very, very close.
