RetroMaze is a multiplayer shoot-em-up. Pitchyourself against the ai in single player mode, then take on yourfriends in multiplayer mayhem. Drop mines, place walls and collectpower ups to outsmart your opponent. RetroMaze will automaticallyfind other players over a local WiFi or Bluetooth network.Play over 30 different mazes, each with a unique strategy andgame play.The scoring system works on two levels, a direct hit count forthe current game, and a player rating based on the number hitsgiven or taken over the last hour of game play. Your player ratingpersists from one game to the next and is shown to your opponentswhen they join a game. Your player rating is a direct indication ofyour skill at RetroMaze.How to PlayRetroMaze will automatically find other players over a localWiFi or Bluetooth network. For Bluetooth, you must be paired withthe other players device. Once paired, a Bluetooth connection willhappen automatically when both devices are within range.There are several ways to move about the maze. Touch and holdwill automatically send your character to the desired location inthe maze using the shortest available route. If a route is notfound, then your character will not move.You can move using the arrow keys in the bottom right handcorner or you can swipe the maze to move in a given direction.Swipe and hold to continue moving. Tap the screen to fire a bulletin the last movement direction. You can also fire by tapping thescore in the bottom left hand corner. The bullet direction will bethe same as the last movement direction or the last arrow keypressed. The highlighted arrow key shows the current bulletdirection.You can select the type of bullet by tapping the weapon type onthe left hand side of the screen. You can place a wall or mine bytapping the drop wall and drop mine buttons in the top left handcorner. Your mines cannot be seen by other players and viceversa.BulletsBullets are acquired automatically over time. A certain numberof bullets are required to fire the different weapon types. Thenumber of shots available is displayed on the corresponding weaponbutton. You have the following weapons:[b] is a normal bullet. Normal bullets are stopped by just abouteverything.[s] is a super bullet. Super bullets cannot be stopped by normalbullets. They can also blast holes in walls.[x] is an exploding bullet. Exploding bullets explode oncontact. The explosion ring is deadly and can take out more thanone opponent.[d] is a deflector bullet. Deflector bullets can turn roundcorners and follow the maze path. Deflector bullets can be stoppedby normal bullets.All bullet types are displayed as an [*] in the maze.Power UpsPower ups will randomly appear in the maze and have thefollowing attributes:[$] Bullet cache. Get a large number of bullets.[.] Become invisible. Makes the player invisible to all otherplayers.[~] Disguise as wall. Makes a player look like a wall.[-] Walk thru walls.[!] Explosion protection.[/] Bullets pass thru you.[\] Bullets bounce off you.[=] Teleport. This power up is acquired over time and allows youto use a teleport.Maze Objects[^] Mine. You can only see your own mines.[#] Normal walls. Can be placed with the drop wall button anddestroyed by super bullets.[@] Impenetrable wall, cannot be destroyed.[:] Pass thru wall. Allows bullets to pass thru.[|] Rubber wall. Viperbyte is a new take on the classicalsnakegame of the 1970's. The game requires two players (human vshumanor human vs AI) and the goal is to be the first to achieve100points.Points are scored by eating matching color hearts that appearonthe play field, or by eating your opponent’s body segments. Asyouscore points, your body grows in length, which in turn canbeattacked by your opponent to regain points. If your snakebecomestrapped, your body segments are consumed and points areawarded tothe opponent.To successfully eat a heart, your snake color must matchtheheart color. If the color does not match, the heart isstillconsumed but the points are awarded to your opponent. Youcanchange the color of your snake at any time. Eating heartsalsoawards venom, which is required to use certain abilities.Hearts are generated by squashing spiders that appear on theplayfield.The pace of the game is increased as a player approachesthewinning score. To win, a player must have quick reflexes andasuccessful strategy in acquiring and using venom.Venom can be used for the following abilities:Attack Ability: charge at your opponent to cut them inhalf.Score points from the severed body segments.Shield Ability: protects you against one attack fromyouropponent.Butterfly Bomb: makes your opponents body segments fly off inalldirections after a 10 second countdown. The bomb is visible toyoubut appears as a normal heart to your opponent. Caution: thebombcan be passed back to you if your opponent makes a successfulattackin the countdown period!Escape Ability: allows you to slide out of a trickysituation.Prevents loss of body segments when trapped.Sacrifice Ability: sacrifice body segments (and score) togainvenom. This lets you use your other abilities when youneedthem.
