Description

Incognito Droid is a simple application thatwill disable the microphone and jam the camera on your Androiddevice. This is a great application for privacy, certain recordingreasons, or if you simply want your microphone/camera disabled.


Microphone:
On most devices this application will automatically unmute themicrophone when a phone call is received while the user has themicrophone set to "Muted." However, there are certain devices thatneed the mic to be enabled manually. Please test your devicebeforehand to see how phone calls and other applications that needa microphone are handled.

Camera:
If the user has the camera status set to "Jammed," the applicationneeds to be running in the background for it to continue jamming.If the application is closed (not running in the background), itwill need to be opened again to use the jamming function.

With that being said, Incognito Droid users need to test theirdevices accordingly to get a feel for how it works. Disablingsensors/cameras on the Android platform can vary for each device,and unfortunately I don't have the resources to test on everyplatform.

This application has been verified on the following devices:

Motorola Droid Turbo
Motorola Mini
Samsung Galaxy 10" Tablet

Permissions (needs access) are as follows:

1. Microphone - Allows application to control device'smicrophone.
2. Camera - Allows application to control device's camera.
3. Device ID & call information - Allows application to detectwhen phone calls are received.
