The complex of dosimeter and Android-smartphone with the appGeigerCounter allows you to quickly and accurately assess the levelof radiation in open areas and in the rooms.
The application allows continuous measuring the count rate (incounts per minute, CPM) and determines the average, minimum andmaximum values ​​of the counting rate. To stabilize the readingsused an algorithm for calculating a moving average with a windowsize of 15 minutes.
Also, the application determines the geographical coordinates ofthe smartphone.
