Breast cancer is cancer that develops from breast tissue. Signsofbreast cancer may include a lump in the breast, a change inbreastshape, dimpling of the skin, fluid coming from the nipple, anewlyinverted nipple, or a red or scaly patch of skin. In thosewithdistant spread of the disease, there may be bone pain,swollenlymph nodes, shortness of breath, or yellow skin. Riskfactors fordeveloping breast cancer include being female, obesity,a lack ofphysical exercise, alcoholism, hormone replacement therapyduringmenopause, ionizing radiation, an early age at firstmenstruation,having children late in life or not at all, older age,having aprior history of breast cancer, and a family history ofbreastcancer. About 5–10% of cases are the result of ageneticpredisposition inherited from a person's parents, includingBRCA1and BRCA2 among others. Breast cancer most commonly developsincells from the lining of milk ducts and the lobules thatsupplythese ducts with milk. Cancers developing from the ducts areknownas ductal carcinomas, while those developing from lobules areknownas lobular carcinomas. There are more than 18 other sub-typesofbreast cancer. Some, such as ductal carcinoma in situ, developfrompre-invasive lesions. The diagnosis of breast cancer isconfirmedby taking a biopsy of the concerning tissue. Once thediagnosis ismade, further tests are done to determine if the cancerhas spreadbeyond the breast and which treatments are most likely tobeeffective. The Moon is Earth's only permanent natural satellite. It is one ofthe largest natural satellites in the Solar System, and the largestamong planetary satellites relative to the size of the planet thatit orbits (its primary). It is the second-densest satellite amongthose whose densities are known (after Jupiter's satellite Io). TheMoon is thought to have formed approximately 4.5 billion years ago,not long after Earth. This matching of apparent visual size will notcontinue in the far future. The Moon's linear distance from Earthis currently increasing at a rate of 3.82 ± 0.07 centimetres (1.504± 0.028 in) per year, but this rate is not constant. The SovietUnion's Luna programme was the first to reach the Moon withunmanned spacecraft in 1959; the United States' NASA Apollo programachieved the only manned missions to date, beginning with the firstmanned lunar orbiting mission by Apollo 8 in 1968, and six mannedlunar landings between 1969 and 1972, with the first being Apollo11. These missions returned over 380 kg (840 lb) of lunar rocks,which have been used to develop a geological understanding of theMoon's origin, the formation of its internal structure, and itssubsequent history. After the Apollo 17 mission in 1972, the Moonhas been visited only by unmanned spacecraft.
