Description

This chronograph measures the average speed ofan arrow shot from a bow to a target using sound.

Also works with paint ball guns with velocities under 400ft/s.

Reports the speed of your arrow after release, similar to astandard radar chronograph. It also reports the speed of your arrowat common shooting distances down range. It reports the energy ofthe arrow at any distance down range, as well as suggested size ofgame for hunting. It reports the deceleration, or drag, of yourarrow as well. Several different arrows may be recorded forcomparison.

Wind speed and temperature are the most significant factorsaffecting the speed of sound.

Temperature accounts for altitude. Humidity and barometricpressure are negligible.

The speed of sound is needed to adjust for the time sound takesto travel from the target back to the microphone after the arrowhits the target.

Select nearest wind speed by moving right side view of windsockup or down. Trees in the display will move, helping to estimatewind speed.
10 mph ( 5 m/s, 15 kph): Leaves and small twigs in constantmotion
20 mph (10 m/s, 40 kph): Moderate branches move, small treessway
30 mph (15 m/s, 50 kph): Large branches to whole trees inmotion
Enter wind direction relative to shot by rotating the windsock inthe top view on the right side

Select nearest temperature in degrees
Select distance to the target in yards (or meters)
Select delay time, the time it takes to put your cell phone in yourpocket, draw your bow, and aim.
Select duration, the time it takes to release the arrow afterhearing the single chirp signal
plus the time for the arrow to travel to the target and the timefor sound to travel from the
target back to you. Use 4 seconds for long distance shots, otherwise use 2 seconds.

Press , put phone in shirt pocket, nock arrow, draw bow, aim,and wait for 3 chirps, 2 chirps, 1 chirp, then release arrow assoon as you are ready, within half a second or so.

The button will change to other status messages when active, andcan be pressed again at any time to cancel.
A blue sound signal will appear with a mark showing when the bowshot and when the
arrow hit the target. The velocity of the arrow will be reported inthe box.
Press to listen for the shot and the arrow. Shoot again if thesounds were missed.
If you entered the wrong temperature, wind speed, or distancebefore you shot, make the changes, then
Press to update the speed calculation.

Press tab button to hide user interface. Press again to showuser interface.

Supports English or Metric units.

No velocity will appear after a shot if sounds were missed fromthe arrow release or the arrow hitting the target. Try to limitnoise during the shot.
Make sure the microphone is sticking out of your shirtpocket.
Try not to aim at a shot-out part of your bag target, or pin up amilk carton, so the arrow makes a louder sound when hitting thetarget.

On the Shot tab, select the round button under Arrow. An Arrowselection box should appear next the the Arrow Button. Click theArrows tab at the top, then click + under the grid to add an arrow.Enter a new arrow name, if desired. Enter weight of arrow in grains(or milligrams) to provide kinetic energy values. Return to theShoot tab and make sure the correct arrow is selected in the Arrowbox.
Now shoot an arrow. The Save button should appear next to thespeed. Click Save if the shot was good. Now shoot at differentdistances.

Review all shots under the Arrows tab by selecting the tab withthe name of the arrow and then Shots. Shots may be deleted bypressing the x at the end of the corresponding row. Shots at thesame distances are averaged.
Click the Speeds tab to view detailed information about arrow.

Program has been tested out to 100 yards in 20 mph winds on abag target, with arrow speeds > 360 fps.

Program works with cross-bows, recurves, compound bows, andpaint ball guns.

Tape velcro to back ofphone and attach to bracket in the same position as a traditionalbow sight. Drill holes in bracket to attach to bow (use a 3/16"titanium drill bit for hole, and a 5/16" bit to bevel the hole). Iused #10-24x1" flat head phillips zinc bolts to accommodate myquiver bracket. Counter-sink hole before drilling, put some3-in-one oil on metal strip, then drill very slowly to keep drillbit cool. File off sharp edges, paint with acrylics, and finishwith rust-oleum protective enamel. Views of bracket are included inscreen shot list- Check local hunting regulations before hunting with electronicsattached to bow
SPT Inclinometer Compass 1.0 APK
Compass with digital inclinometer for quicklyestimating slope angles.Compass needle points true north. No calibration necessary.Air bubble can be used as a level.Blue inclination needle points down when device is heldvertically.Digital readout of inclination angle shown in upper left.To measure slope angles in the mountains while hiking orbackcountry skiing, hold device at arms length, align bottom ofdevice with slope, and read the inclination angle.Slopes from 25-60 degrees typically have a higher avalancherisk. Human triggered avalanches are most common from 35-45degrees, with 38 degrees being the most common. Avalanche hazardtypically increases uniformly with slope angle.Close app after use to extend battery life.
SPT Mountain Locator Compass 1.0.0 APK
SPT Mountain Locator Compass by Summit PeakTechnologies.Have you ever been out hiking, snowshoeing, backcountry skiing, camping, or just driving around, seen a mountain off in thedistance, and wondered about the name, elevation, or distance tothe mountain? Have you ever been excited about fishing an alpinelake and wondered about the direction to the lake, and if the lakeis over the next ridge or below the next peak? I have, and it canbe tricky digging a printed map out of the ziplock bag in mypocket, or digging out the GPS and panning around to try and figureit out. Of course that never happens, since someone might see meand think I am lost -- how embarrassing. Impress your friends with your knowledge oflocal geography. Play games with your kids to guess the distance toa mountain on the horizon. Give better answers for those "Are wethere yet?" questions. You may even discover new information aboutfeatures near your house.Hold up your camera as if you were taking a picture of amountain and see the name, elevation, and distance to the mountainin miles, displayed right on the camera video of the mountain.
