WeSafe is a mobile application designed with our digitizationplatform to support Agility’s Target Zero objectives. Theapplication allows Agility employees to report unsafe acts andconditions. By using GPS technology to identify the location andsend a report to management. Managers or designated individual(s)are responsible for investigation and implementation of correctiveaction when required. The application is a closed loop processwhich requires a documented response and second level approval forclosure.

Target Zero was established as our approach to eliminate workplacesafety incidents and continues to be our mission, underlining ourcommitment to the highest safety standards. The Take5 mobile appbuilds on this by ensuring that all possible hazards are identifiedand the associated risks analyzed, clearly specifying existingcontrols and additional controls before the work commenced. Itallows users to carry out mini risk assessments of any task,eliminating any hazards or the associated risk that may change thecircumstances of the work activity. The app will enforce the ‘Take5 by 5’ processes before the user/ supervisor starts any activityor work. It provides the users a platform which walks them throughthe ‘Take 5 by 5’ processes.

The VIC inspections will ensure that the vehicles are roadworthyand can deliver its load to the first destination and/ orthroughout the day. The application tracks the completion of thedaily vehicle inspections to ensure that our vehicles are safe forthe trip or on a particular day. These inspections ensure that thevehicle will safely deliver our shipments with no harm to theshipments or our people and other third parties that may beimpacted due to its un-road worthiness.
