iControl Eczema is a simple, patient-friendly tool to assess eczemaseverity on a daily basis. Eczema, or atopic dermatitis, is achronic skin condition whose severity can fluctuate. By usingiControl Eczema, you and/or your child would be able to assess youreczema on a daily basis and take photos of the affected skin areas.Monitoring your eczema will enable you to know your disease betterand manage it more effectively. With iControl Eczema, you will beable to view your daily eczema scores on a graph. When necessary,you can email this to your doctor or show him the chart during yourclinic visits. This will give him better insights into yourcondition. You can also set reminders on iControl Eczema to remindyou to apply your moisturiser. Various eczema guidelines suggestthat moisturisers should be the first line and mainstay of eczematreatment. In particular, ceramide-dominant therapeuticmoisturisers would be important in repairing the skin barrier.iControl Eczema is based on the Patient Eczema Severity Time [PEST]score.
