When a soldier reaches theback rowof its opponent, it is promoted to a king at the end ofthe move. *Kings may move any number of squares forward, backwardor sideways,capturing army pieces by jumping over any piece andlanding on anysquare within permissible path beyond the capturedpiece. * Piecesare removed immediately after being jumped. If ajump is possible,it must be made. If several ways of jumping arepossible, the onethat captures the most pieces must be chosen.There is no differenceduring capture whether king or soldier; eachcount as one piece. Ifthere is more than one way to capture themaximum possible number ofpieces, the player may choose whichpiece to take. * The game endswhen a player has no legal move,either because all their pieces arecaptured or they are completelyblocked.
