Книга сказок и историй 1001 ночи некогда поразила европейцевнеменьше, чем разноцветье восточных тканей, мерцаниесталибеспощадных мусульманских клинков, таинственный блескразноцветныхарабских чаш. Собрание рассказов, обрамленное историейо персидскомцаре Шахрияре и его жене по имени Шахразада(Шахерезада). Название"Тысяча и одна ночь" сформированно подвлиянием тюркской культуры,так как первоначальное названиеперсидского цикла было "Тысячасказок". В тюркской среде добавлениеединицы к тысяче несло оттенокбессчетного количества. - арабскиесказки - сказки на ночь -русские народные сказки - сказки Аладина -про Али Бабу и 40разбойников - про Синдбада морехода Вопрос опроисхождении иразвитии «1001 ночи» не выяснен полностью донастоящего времени.Попытки искать прародину этого сборника в Индии,делавшиеся егопервыми исследователями, пока не получилидостаточного обоснования.Прообразом «Ночей» на арабской почве был,вероятно, сделанный в Xвеке перевод персидского сборника«Хезар-Эфсане» (Тысяча сказок).Перевод этот, носивший название«Тысяча ночей» или «Тысяча однаночь», был, как свидетельствуютарабские писатели того времени,очень популярен в столице восточногохалифата, в Багдаде. Судить охарактере его мы не можем, так как донас дошёл лишь обрамляющийего рассказ, совпадающий с рамкой «1001ночи». В эту удобную рамкувставлялись в разное время различныерассказы, иногда — целые циклырассказов, в свою очередьобрамленные, как например «Сказка огорбуне», «Носильщик и тридевушки» и другие. Отдельные сказкисборника, до включения их вписанный текст, существовали частосамостоятельно, иногда в болеераспространенной форме. Можно сбольшим основанием предполагать, чтопервыми редакторами текстасказок были профессиональные рассказчики,заимствовавшие свойматериал прямо из устных источников; поддиктовку рассказчиковсказки записывались книгопродавцами,стремившимися удовлетворитьспрос на рукописи «1001 ночи».
