Viola Fingers is an aid to learning scales and arpeggios on theViola covering ABRSM grades 1 to 5 (including chromatic, harmonicand melodic minors, dominant and diminished sevenths).

A fingerboard graphic is included with each scale giving therecommended finger patterns. This is presented with the scale toallow association of finger pattern and written notation.

Scales can be manually selected within each grade or from a listof all scales. A random scale can also be requested per grade (orfrom all grades) to simulate exam conditions. The performance of ascale can be rated by the student (or teacher) as a motivationalaid and to encourage focussing on scales that need more work.
