The Heart App© on a mission to reduce fatalities due to heartdiseases. The Heart App© aims to help people find out if they areat risk of, or are developing a heart attack based on somequestions regarding their seemingly serious or not so serious chestcomplaints. These questions try to mimic the sequential procedurethat heart-specialists follow while diagnosing a patient. The HeartApp© can also be of use to paramedical staff operating in field. Amajority of patients get some warning symptoms before a full-blownheart attack occurs, and if they are provided appropriate treatmentin time, heart attack can even be avoided! It is these avoidablefatalities that we hope to stop with the help of the heart app©. Acritical step in this direction is the information about heartattacks and coronary artery disease packed in the app in practicaland easy to read compartments. The Heart App© would not onlyimproves people’s awareness but also provide them a ready referencein their time of need. Ample amount of research categoricallypoints out that mortality and morbidity due to heart attack can besubstantially prevented by two key methods- awareness andtimely-treatment. Of the two key factors, timely treatment is amore concrete factor and if we could somehow equip people withaccurate information via a pervasive medium then millions of livescan be saved.
