SmartSELECT orchestrates the use of Wi-Fi andmo­bile network interfaces on the device to provide the bestpossible service quality. SmartSELECT has a set of features thatmakes connection to public Wi-Fi as easy as connecting to themobile network. When a known hotspot is in range, the clientautomatically connects using the correct authentication method andlogs in the device without user interaction. Users can launch a mapshowing the operator’s nearby hotspot locations in the SmartSELECTuser interface, no GPS needed.
