The SKF 2authenticate app provides two methods to support withverification of authenticity of your SKF products to help youdetect counterfeit bearings? 1) The first method is to scan theData Matrix code on the package (similar to QR code). You getinstant feedback if the code is valid or not. (This feature iscurrently available in selected countries only.) 2) The secondmethod is used when there is no Data Matrix code on the productpackage or if the scanning of the code did not provide a conclusiveanswer, i.e. the product is suspicious. In this case you arerequested to send photos of the package and product to SKF whichwill manually verify its authenticity and revert to you with aconclusion regarding the likely authenticity of the product.
