Inaddition toshooting, the player can also perform melee attacks byusing a knifeand/or kicking. The player does not die simply bycoming intocontact with enemies, and correspondingly, many of theenemy troopsalso have melee attacks. Much of the game's scenery isalsodestructible, and occasionally, this reveals extra itemsorpower-ups, although most of the time it simply resultsincollateral damage.
