What is WaHoKe? It is just abbreviation for WAreHOuse KEeper.And"warehouse keeper" is just translation of the Japanese wordsōkoban(倉庫番). But what the sokoban is? Sokoban is a type oftransportpuzzle, in which the player pushes boxes or crates aroundin awarehouse, trying to get them to storage locations. Idea ofthisgame was created in 1981 by Hiroyuki Imabayashi. The game isplayedon a board of squares, where each square is a floor or awall. Somefloor squares contain boxes, and some floor squares aremarked asstorage locations. The player is confined to the board,and maymove horizontally or vertically onto empty squares (neverthroughwalls or boxes). The player can also move into a box, whichpushesit into the square beyond. Boxes may not be pushed into otherboxesor walls, and they cannot be pulled. The puzzle is solved whenallboxes are at storage locations. In this version there are morethan600 levels.
