Its predecessor, theGermanWorkers' Party (Deutsche Arbeiterpartei; DAP), existed from1919 to1920.The party emerged from the German nationalist, racistandpopulist Freikorps paramilitary culture, which fought againstthecommunist uprisings in post-World War I Germany.[6] The partywascreated as a means to draw workers away from communism andintovölkisch nationalism.[7] Initially, Nazi political strategyfocusedon anti-big business, anti-bourgeois, and anti-capitalistrhetoric,although such aspects were later downplayed in order togain thesupport of industrial entities, and in the 1930s theparty's focusshifted to anti-Semitic and anti-Marxistthemes.[8]Racism was central to Nazism. The Nazis propagated the idea ofa"people's community" (Volksgemeinschaft). Their aim being onetounite "racially desirable" Germans as national comrades, whilstexcluding those deemed either to be politicaldissidents, physically or intellectually inferior, or of a foreignrace(Fremdvölkische).[9] The Nazis sought to improve the stock oftheGermanic people through racial purity and eugenics, broadsocialwelfare programs, and a collective subordination ofindividualrights, which could be sacrificed for the good of theNazi stateand the "Aryan master race". To maintain the supposedpurity andstrength of the Aryan race, the Nazis sought toexterminate Jews,Romani, and the physically and mentallyhandicapped. They imposedexclusionary segregation on homosexuals,Africans, Jehovah'sWitnesses, and political opponents.[10] Thepersecution reached itsclimax when the party-controlled Germanstate organized thesystematic murder of approximately six millionJews and fivemillion people from the other targeted groups, in whathas becomeknown as the Holocaust. The party's leader since 1921, Adolf Hitler, wasappointedChancellor of Germany by President Paul von Hindenburg in1933.Hitler rapidly established a totalitarianregime[11][12][13][14]known as the Third Reich. Following thedefeat of the Third Reichat the conclusion of World War II inEurope, the party was"declared to be illegal" by the Alliedpowers,[15] who performeddenazification in the years after thewar.Hopefully, with this application Nazi Party History, we canhavemore insight and news update. History Of Nazism 1.0
History Of Nazism is an applicationthatcontains a variety of information about the annals or chronicleofthe world. A lot of information such as ancient country orcity, biography of famous people and the battle of war story isincludedhere.National Socialism (German: Nationalsozialismus), morecommonlyknown as Nazism (/ˈnɑːtsɪzəm, ˈnæ-/[1]) orNaziism(/ˈnɑːtsi.ɪzəm/), is the ideology and practice associatedwith the20th-century German Nazi Party and Nazi state as well asotherfar-right groups. Usually characterized as a form of fascismthatincorporates scientific racism and anti-Semitism, Nazismdevelopedout of the influences of Pan-Germanism, the VölkischGermannationalist movement, and the anti-communist Freikorpsparamilitarygroups that emerged during the Weimar Republic afterGerman defeatin World War I.Nazism subscribed to theories of racial hierarchy andSocialDarwinism. Germanic peoples (called the Nordic Race) weredepictedas the purest of the Aryan race, and were therefore themasterrace. Opposed to both capitalism and communism, it aimedtoovercome social divisions, with all parts of a homogeneoussocietyseeking national unity and traditionalism. Nazism alsovigorouslypursued what it viewed as historically German territoryunder thedoctrine of Pan-Germanism (or Heim ins Reich), as wellasadditional lands for German expansion under the doctrineofLebensraum. The term "National Socialism" arose out of attempts to createanationalist redefinition of "socialism", as an alternative tobothinternationalist Marxist socialism and free market capitalism.TheNazis sought to achieve this by a "people'scommunity"(Volksgemeinschaft) with the aim of uniting all Germansas nationalcomrades, whilst excluding those deemed either to becommunityaliens or "foreign peoples" (Fremdvölkische). It rejectedtheMarxist concept of class struggle, opposed ideas of classequalityand international solidarity, and sought to defend privatepropertyand privately owned businesses. The Nazi Party was founded as the Pan-German nationalistandantisemitic German Workers' Party on 5 January 1919. By theearly1920s, Adolf Hitler assumed control of the organization andrenamedit the Nazi Party (Nationalsozialistische DeutscheArbeiterpartei,NSDAP) to broaden its appeal. The National SocialistProgram, adopted in 1920, called for a united Greater Germany thatwoulddeny citizenship to Jews or those of Jewish descent, whilealsosupporting land reform and the nationalization of someindustries. In Mein Kampf, written in 1924, Hitler outlined theantisemitismand anti-communism at the heart of his politicalphilosophy, aswell as his disdain for parliamentary democracy andhis belief inGermany’s right to territorial expansion. In 1933, with the support of the elites, Hitler becameChancellorof Germany and the Nazis gradually established aone-party state, under which Jews, political opponents and other"undesirables"elements were marginalized, with several millionseventuallyimprisoned and killed. Hitler purged the party’s moresocially andeconomically radical factions in the mid-1934 Night ofthe LongKnives and, after the death of President Hindenburg, political powerwas concentrated in his hands, as Führer or"leader".Hopefully, with this application History Of Nazism, we canhavemore insight and news update. That afternoon, in accordance withHitler'spriorinstructions, their remains were carried up the stairsthroughthebunker's emergency exit, doused in petrol, and set alightintheReich Chancellery garden outside the bunker. Records intheSovietarchives show that their burnt remains were recoveredandinterredin successive locations until 1970, when they wereagainexhumed, cremated, and the ashes scattered.Accounts differ as to the cause of death; one states that hediedbypoison only and another that he died by aself-inflictedgunshotwhile biting down on a cyanide capsule.Contemporaryhistorianshave rejected these accounts as being eitherSovietpropaganda oran attempted compromise in order to reconcilethedifferentconclusions. The Holocaust (from the Greek ὁλόκαυστος holókaustos: hólos,"whole"and kaustós, "burnt"), also known as the Shoah (Hebrew:השואה,HaShoah, "the catastrophe"), was a genocide in whichapproximatelysix million Jews were killed by Adolf Hitler's Naziregime and itscollaborators. Some historians use a definition ofthe Holocaustthat includes the additional five million non-Jewishvictims of Nazimass murders, bringing the total to approximatelyeleven million.Killings took place throughout Nazi Germany andGerman-occupiedterritories. From 1941 to 1945, Jews weresystematically murdered ina genocide, one of the largest inhistory, and part of a broaderaggregate of acts of oppression andkillings of various ethnic andpolitical groups in Europe by theNazi regime. Every arm ofGermany's bureaucracy was involved in thelogistics and the carryingout of the genocide, turning the ThirdReich into "a genocidalstate". Other victims of Nazi crimesincluded Romanis, ethnic Polesand other Slavs, Soviet POWs,communists, homosexuals, Jehovah'sWitnesses and the mentally andphysically disabled. In total, approximately 11 million people werekilled, including approximatelyone million Jewish children.Of thenine million Jews who had residedin Europe before the Holocaust, approximately two-thirds werekilled. A network of about 42,500facilities in Germany andGerman-occupied territories were used toconcentrate, confine, andkill Jews and other victims.
