Conflicts: Kursk - The Biggest Tank Battle isaturn based strategy game set on the Eastern Front during theSecondWorld War.Historical background: In 1943 Germans hoped to shorten theRussianfront by eliminating the Kursk Salient, which had beencreated inthe aftermath of the Battle of Stalingrad. Wehrmacht,focusingmajority of their elite divisions on the Eastern Front onthisrelatively small area, envisioned Panzer spearheadsbreakingthrough northern and southern flanks of the salient toencircle theRed Army forces.
