The language used is verysimple.Thepoems have the musical quality of classical meters. Mostofthewords are simple Telugu. The use of Sanskrit words isverylimited.There are hardly any words unfamiliar to modernreaders.The poemsdo not look anything like the sophisticatedcompositionsusing thehighly cultivated language of prabandhams.Since theTelugu used bythe author is so close to what the commonpeopleused, the poemslook surprisingly familiar to the users oftheTelugu. The poemshave an astonishing communication power. Allthepoems are in kandapadyam meter (Chandas).
