This app is made for the devices which do not have thebrightnessadjustment slider in the notification panel. This appbrings asimilar slider to the notification panel in the form ofanotification. Brightness Slider Control aims to mimicthefunctionality of those sliders/controllers found inSamsung,Motorola, Nexus and other devices and delivers it to thosedeviceswhich do not have this functionality e.g HTC phones. But duetosome technical limitations imposed by Android OS, it isnotpossible to mimic the exact behavior of sliding.
