Hearts - Classic The object To score as few points aspossible.Thetable Hearts is played with a single deck of 52cards.Youropponents (played by your computer) are West, North, andEast.Eachplayer receives 13 cards. How to play Players begin eachhandbypassing three cards to their opponent (except foreveryfourthhand, when no cards are passed). The player holding thetwoofclubs plays that card to start the first trick (game-speakforthecards played in a single round). Players must follow withacardfrom the same suit. If you don't have one, you can playanycard(except during the first trick, when you can't play a heartorthequeen of spades). Whoever plays the highest card takesthetrickand starts the next round. In Hearts, the cards arerankedfrom ace(high) to two (low). Players can start subsequenttrickswith acard from any suit. The exception is hearts. You can'tplay aheartunless someone has played one in a previous trick. (Or,ingameparlance, until hearts have been broken.) The goal in heartsistopass all your hearts to other players (who are also tryingtopasstheirs to you).
