This makes it a lightweight and efficient app,since itneeds very little storage space, and it allows you toexperimentwith three practice modes: • Constant: practice therudiment at aconstant speed, with or without rests. This mode isuseful whengetting used to the rudiment structure and feel. •Steps: play forsets of steps, each at its own tempo. You can gofrom a slow to afast tempo, or the other way round. The length ofthe steps isadjustable and rests can be included as well. Use thismode to pushyou further when gaining speed. • Up and Down: start atan initialtempo that will be increased on each bar, until it getsto amaximum value and then decreases to the initial value. Thismodeallows you to practice from "open to close to open" and isgreat tocover a wide range of speed to increase your resistance andspeed.The rudiments can be filtered by type, and you can markrudimentsas Favorites so you can filter them and focus on sets ofrudiments.It is a great tool for musicians, specially drummersandpercussionists. The app currently uses Android'sinternalsynthesizer for playback, but with your appreciated helpandcontribution when installing Drumate Free or purchasing thePremiumversion, I will be able to buy a software license for bettersnareand metronome sounds.
