For optimal experience:
- If you are using a local WIFI connection, try disablingcompression, it may lead to a faster experience.
- Enable channels as favourites on the Remote Potato Server toenable more information to be retrieved for programmes (this fillsin the other showings dialogue).
- This application works well with standard guide information, butcan work better with guide information that includes as muchinformation as possible (e.g. ratings/thumbnails/programme typesetc...). There are several ways of getting this information intoWindows Media Centre including XmlTv.

*Please note: Due to a limitation/bug in remote potato server, passwords cannot be hashed for transmission (they are simplyencoded), this will be the same for all client applications (notjust RemoteTV), this is also likely only to protect the passwordrather than add extra security to the server as such.

Once this is complete, scroll around the map, and press once, or long press on a locationto add a marker. Then add the markers to follow your proposed route(usually looping back to the start marker somehow). The totaldistance of the route will be plotted at the bottom of thescreen. For extra information, click any of the markers to view thedistance up to that point.Additionally, all the gestures availablein google maps are also available.Note: elevation is not currently taken into account, this may beadded in a future release.Note: Please use responsibly, ensure the route you have chosenis suitable for your chosen activity (i.e. There arepavements/lights).
