Description

Chess is a two-player strategy boardgameplayed on a chessboard, a checkered gameboard with 64squaresarranged in an eight-by-eight grid. It is one of the world'smostpopular games, played by millions of people worldwide inhomes,parks, clubs, online, by correspondence, and in tournaments.

Each player begins the game with 16 pieces: one king, onequeen,two rooks, two knights, two bishops, and eight pawns. Each ofthesix piece types moves differently. Pieces are used to attackandcapture the opponent's pieces, with the objective to'checkmate'the opponent's king by placing it under an inescapablethreat ofcapture. In addition to checkmate, the game can be won bythevoluntary resignation of the opponent, which typically occurswhentoo much material is lost, or if checkmate appears unavoidable.Agame may also result in a draw in several ways, whereneitherplayer wins. The course of the game is divided into threephases:opening, middlegame, and endgame.

This is a simple yet intelligent chess game which youwilldefinitely like to play. It's simple in look-and-feel and doesnotsupport multiplayer mode in the free version.
