*** BETA Release ***This is a very simple story viewer for ink story files.Ink is the scripting language developed by inkle studios andused in games such as 80 Days and Sorcery. Seehttps://github.com/inkle/ink for the code and full documentation ofthe ink scripting language.StoryBytes is built using the jInk java implementation of Ink(see https://github.com/micabytes/jink), which is not yet a 100%compatible ink interpreter yet. Notably, it does not currentlyimplement threads and tunnels, as well as other features (check thegithub repository for the details). If you stick to the basicconstructs of ink in your files, though, it should work fine. jInkwill see further development, so eventually it should be capable ofhandling most of the ink scripting language. If you feel likecontributing to that day coming, feel free to help out (jInk isopen-source, and released under the Apache license same asink).StoryBytes is a spin-off from the source-code in Pirates andTraders 2, and is not a full product. It is released as-is, forpeople who would like to demo/play simple ink scripts on theirAndroid phones. No guarantees that it will ever amount to much morethan it is right now, as this is a project being done in the sparetime of my spare time.== Usage ==- You can download a short demo script, Cloak of Darkness, frominside the app.- To make files easily available for playing, place them in theStoryBytes folder on your phone (the folder is created the firsttime you run the app).
