Migration Network app was designed bytheinternational research center of CARDET in collaboration withtheINNOVADE consulting firm under the action “IntegrationNetwork”(Action 2/3 – CY/2016/AMIF/SO2.NO3.3.1) which is co-fundedby theAsylum, Migration and Integration Fund (90%) and the RepublicofCyprus (10%). Due to the global politicalbackground alongwith the geographic location of the countriesoforigin-asylum-seekers, EU faces a great challenge on handlingthemigration flow as well as managing the integration of thesepeopleto their new “home”.As a result, it is essential for the EU to promoteactivitiesrelevant to the integration of Third Country Nationals(TCNs)through training, exchange of experiences and best practices,andaccess to important information. It is also important tostrengththe cooperation between the EU Member States, Third WorldCountriesand other bodies as well as to improve administrativecapacity andto increase awareness on integration issues.The network aims at promoting inclusion, diversity andcooperationmodels between public authorities as well as to developa databaseof resources for experts and practitioners.
