Master of Wills is unlike any game you have played before. Itwilltest your skills, instincts and mind. Set in a beautifulcyberpunkworld opposing players choose which Faction best suitstheirplay-style. MOW doesn’t rely solely on your Faction cards butalsoon your ability to manipulate the movements of the sharedCommunitycards resulting in an epic “Tug of War”. MOW is easy tolearn butdifficult to master making it a must play for casual andstrategicgamers worldwide. The board is set with three rows on eachside(Recruits, Loyalists, and Allies) and a neutral area in themiddle.Your objective is to move as many Community member cards toyourside by the end of the game while using Faction cards in yourhandto manipulate and influence the cards and game. The pointsearnedfor each player on their side will determine who is theMaster ofWills. The first four Factions are available to choosefrom whichare Alphaguard, Razorcorp, Dawnlight, and Shadowcell andthey wereknown as the core factions. The next four "FringeFactions" will beadded in the future which includes Cloudecho,Edgehunter,Bloodcrown, and Waterborne. Alphaguard was the firstofficialfaction to form as the need arose to protect the citizensfrom therising tide of criminal activity. The law enforcers werebecomingoverwhelmed and the governments underwhelming response leftthecity on edge. Backed by elite law enforcers andex-militarysoldiers, many of the strongest fighters in the citywould join theAlphaguard. Although their goal of order seemedgenuine, the powerto control things through force was still notwidely accepted bythe masses. Razorcorp controlled the flow ofmoney. They weregenerally disliked as are most major corporationsbut there wasgood reason to consider them villainous. Although theywere full oflegitimate enterprises, they operated or had their handin many ofthe illegal ones as well. They used all their power andwealth tobuy controlling interests in land and property whilegainingtechnological advances in weaponry. They bought and paidoffwhoever they needed. They held other corporations hostage intheirbusiness dealings as their massive conglomerate took over thecity.Dawnlight was formed out of a desire to bring those withstrongspiritual believes together but turned out to be much morethanthat. They used their donations to enhance their physicalfeaturesthrough technology as their core beliefs told them thatthey wouldone day become angels. Their members began to addmechanical wings,halos, and other angelic features to their bodiesas a way toadvance towards their gods. Their faction needed a holywar tofight and other factions were making it easy for them todeclarethem sinners. Dawnlight could be considered more of a cultby thecommunity. As the other three Factions made themselvesvisible tothe world, there were others who wanted to take controlin a morelow key fashion. Shadowcell was spawned as an almostvigilantegroup who used deception as their modus operandi. Theyworkedexclusively with the underground members of the community totradein secrets. They played the spy game and used their stealth torulethe darkness. Shadowcell was the closest thing to anindependentintelligence agency operating in the black.
