Eachplayerdraws 7 dominoes from the shuffled pool of dominoes.In the First Game of the Set, the player who draws the Double6domino is the Player who will POSE. The Poser is the Player toplaythe First Domino at the start of the game.After the Pose, the Turn moves to the player to theright(counter clockwise) of the Poser. The next play is made byplayingany card of the 6-suite, for example 6-5 or 6-2, to connectwiththe Double 6 that was already posed.If the Next Player does not have a domino with a "6" intheirhand, this player will PASS, which simply means the turn skipstothe next player.Let's say that Player #2 decides to play 6-5 on the 6-6(Double6) pose. Now Player #3 has the choice of playing either a 6or a 5.If they don't have a domino belonging to the 6-suite or5-suite,they PASS, and the turn moves to the next player.This same pattern of matching or connecting dominoescontinuesuntil a player is able to play all their tiles first.The first player to play all their dominoes is the winner ofthatgame. The winner receives 1 point added to their score or 2pointsfor winning with a KEY CARD!A key card is a Two-Faced Domino, for example, 4-3, thatconnectswith both ends of the board, as the last card played by aplayer astheir winning card. In order for it to be a Key Card, itmust alsobe the 7th (last) member of the suite for both suitesthat itbelongs to. So if 4-3 was the player's winning domino, anda 4 wasexposed at one of the board and a 3 at the other, and 6pieces of 4and 6 pieces of 3 were already played, the 4-3 isdeemed to be a keycard.The winner of a game becomes the Poser of the next game.In some cases, the game may also be BLOCKED, meaning thateveryplayer passes and no player has yet played all their cards.Thishappens when all 7-members of a suite have already been playedandthese are the only exposed values to play on at either end oftheboard.The winner of a blocked game is the person who has theLOWESTCOUNT of all the pips/dots on ALL of their dominoes,collectively.Meaning, if you have 3-2 and 5-5 remaining in yourhand when thegame is blocked, the total count of your hand is: 3 +2 + 5 + 5 =15.If there is a TIE for the lowest count, then the game is aDRAWand the next game is played for 2 points. Since there was noclearwinner, in the next round, the player who draws Double 6 (6-6)willpose.In the 6-LOVE style of Cut Throat, the Set of Games is overwhena player reaches a total Score of 6 while at least one otherplayerremains at a score of 0 (6-0).Alternatively, the game is said to be "BRUCK" or broken ifeveryplayer scores at least 1 point before any player is able toreach 6points.
