The Competition Commission of Singapore (CCS) is honoured to hostthe 2016 ICN Annual Conference from 26-29 April in Singapore. Thisis the first time the ICN Annual Conference will be hosted inSoutheast Asia, and takes place in the context of an exciting stateof competition law developments in the region over the past fewyears. The ICN Steering Group, ICN Working Groups, and CCS have putin place an enriching and interesting conference programme for you.In addition to the conference sessions by the ICN Working Groups onadvocacy, agency effectiveness, cartels, mergers, and unilateralconduct, CCS will be looking forward to presenting to you thefindings of this year’s “Special Project” on “DisruptiveInnovations and Government Advocacy”. The World Bank will also beholding a pre-ICN conference event on 26 April. The Conference andits events will be held at various iconic venues in Singapore – theMarina Bay Sands (Conference), the National Gallery Singapore(Welcome Reception), Gardens by the Bay (Conference Dinner), andthe Singapore Botanic Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage site (SocialTour). SIAC Congress 2016 This is a special event as we are celebratingour Silver Jubilee this year, and the Congress coincides with theglobal launch of our new SIAC Arbitration Rules and SIAC InvestmentArbitration Rules.
