Rather than counting calories, you can nowcount your serves for each of the 5 main food groups - Vegetables,Fruit, Grains, Meat and Dairy. ServedUp provides the recommendedserves based on the Australian Dietary Guidelines and AustralianGuide to Healthy Eating. These recommendations are tailored to youas a result of your age, gender and pregnancy status. Oursimplified food database is based around Australian food andprovides one variety of each food - no more choosing between 10different apples! It is extremely fast and easy to add and editfood in your food diary, and similarly to track your water intakeeach day. There is also the option to track key metrics for yourhealth, including weight, waist and body mass index (BMI). Forthose interested in learning a bit more, ServedUp contains guidesand information to help your understanding of nutrition and each ofthe factors affecting your diet. Maintaining a food journal can bebeneficial when seeking independent professional advice, as well asgiving you a clear overview of your current diet.
