Double Dosage is a native Los Angeles Rap duo comprisedofartists Loot and Juse. Loot and Juse met in middle schoolwherethey found a common ground in their love and appreciation ofmusic,the chemistry is apparent in their songs. Straying away fromtheconventional rhetoric, they are two of the most versatile upandcoming mc’s to date.

Double Dosage released their first project “Loot, Juse,RespectVol. 1” in 2009, which is a play off of the phrase “MoneyPowerRespect”, and have been constructing their extensive resumeeversince.

Double Dosage adopted the philosophy and understanding earlyonthat they would build their empire from the ground up, and founditonly right to title their 2010 project “The Construction” aselfproclaimed street album.

Within two years, Double Dosage has successfully managed togetthemselves mainstream radio airplay on 93.5 KDAY,numeroussatellite stations such as 210 West Radio and The Wave inthePhilippines. The Wave featured two of their songs on Valentinesdayand entitled the set “A Double Dose with Double Dosage.” Theyhavebeen featured in The Source, XXL Magazine, and Kababayan LA.Inaddition, they have won numerous music competitions, themostnotable being “2010’s I Run L.A. Competition” sponsored byStarrStrucc Entertainment, Interscope Records, Universal, andKonvictMuzik. In lieu of the devastating Typhoon Ondoy that struckthePhilippines in September of 2010, Double Dosage took ituponthemselves to donate their services and assist in raising fundsforthe relief efforts over seas.

The city of Carson recognized their efforts and awarded themtwoCertificates of Recognition for their special performancesanddedication. Staying true to their philosophy of independenceandhard work, Double Dosage has filmed and directed their ownmusicvideos, successfully creating a huge online buzz with over100,000views collectively. Double Dosage is becoming the new faceof LosAngeles and aims to bring hip hop back to its roots – servingas avoice for the people and community.
