Big Chief is now preparing to birth a newgenerationof hip-hop under his new alias “DON CHIEF”. Consideredthe Boss ofDallas, Texas, DON CHIEF is bringing structure back totheindustry.

Many know his story; born and raised in the rough WestDallasRupert Circle housing projects, DON CHIEF was surrounded bydrugs, gang violence and poverty. At the young age of eight, CHIEFdecidedto channel his energy and turn his environment into thesubject ofhis songs. DON CHIEF’s first performance took place inelementaryschool and after being well received by his peers, hishunger toperfect his craft intensified. At fifteen, CHIEF pressedhis firstrecord entitled “Exotic Games” which allowed him tocollaboratewith other local MC’s and later become a member of theStoneyCrooks Clique. CHIEF was beginning to experience limitedsuccessbut he quickly encountered serious adversity when heapproached rapas a career.

Hate is real in the industry and, often, DON CHIEF foundhimselfin the middle of it. Ignoring the substance of his lyrics, hisstory telling ability and his catchy hooks, many criticsdislikedCHIEF’s distinct voice and relaxed cadence. Due to the factthatHouston was already a staple of Southern music, severalindustryexecutives overlooked DON CHIEF simply because he was fromDallas. This hate was only their mistake because CHIEF did not allowtheseroadblocks and obstacles to deter him from his goals andthestreets are forever grateful.

Since first entering the rap game, DON CHIEF has producedaseries of mixtapes titled the “Eat Greedy Volumes”. There areatotal of 16 Eat Greedy Volumes to date. DON CHIEF hassuccessfullybeen able to use his adversity in his favor by bringingthesouthern sounds together to create an undeniably fresh flavortothe hip-hop community. The byproduct of DON CHIEF refusing tohavehis destiny denied was the engineering of a movement that hasnotonly become the theme of his career but also the theme of hislife…the EAT GREEDY Movement.

As founder of the EAT GREEDY movement, DON CHIEF’s buzz andgrindprecede him. His loyal constituents are what keep him going.Hisreputation for the creation of instant street classics such as“WhenU Gone Let Me?”, “Used To It”, and “My Swagg” has createdstrongstreet anticipation for his next albums. This anticipationnow spansfar outside of the DFW area into the under belly ofcities likeHouston, Austin, San Antonio, Miami, Atlanta, Memphis,OklahomaCity, Tulsa, Indianapolis, Cleveland, St. Louis,Shreveport,Philadelphia and New York to name a few.

CHIEF’s persistence has not gone unnoticed by those inthenational music community. He has been co-signed by most thatbecomefamiliar with his music and his grind, converting them allinto EATGREEDY Boys and Girls.
