The Delegation for Collective Scientific Expertise, Foresight andAdvanced Studies The mission of the Delegation for CollectiveScientific Expertise, Foresight and Advanced Studies (DEPE) is toenlighten decision-making in the fields of the environment,agriculture and food. To do so, it pools relevant availableknowledge to answer the questions facing public action. In thiscontext, the scientific reports, foresight work and advancedstudies produced help to build public policies, provide argumentsfor debate over social issues and participate in the formulation ofnew research questions. Such studies mobilise dozens of scientistsand experts for several months, culminating in the production of apublic report as well as documents of a more general natureintended for a wider audience. A part of this work can be found inthis presentation.
