Krawn- A dental App 1.0
Biggest challenge a dentist is facing dailywhile scaling his/her business is collaboration with dental vendorslike lab, suppliers etc on daily basis. Currently, this interactionare mainly through whatsapp and phone calls which are difficult totrack and remember. For. e.g. if a dentist takes an impression of apatient, which need to be sent to the dental lab, then he calls thelab guy to collect the impression. While giving he writes on apiece of paper the patient details, crown details (for warrantycard) and delivery date. So daily he is suppose to receives somecrown from the lab, he need o keep track of all those and if anyone delivery is missed and patient is scheduled dentist will haveto face embarrassment.Hurdle does not end here, many times labs forgot to deliver thewarranty card then again he will have to chase them for it and mainpain comes at the end of the month for the final invoice settlementwith the lab, lots of confusion regarding past orders and payment,since all these things are on paper, so it is likely that confusionmay arise.What if all these process are automated.Krawn is an app which helps the dentist/vendors to place/manageorder and and even track its status. Once a doctor places the orderto its lab through the app (this app), the lab receives anotification and accepts the order and this reflects on the orderstatus on the app. He comes to the respective clinic picks theorder and again change the status. On the date of delivery bothwill receive a notification on their respective app on date ofdelivery. Once lab delivers the order he again change the statusand update the amount to be paid by the doctor. Now control is indoctor, he receives the crown and warranty card, as soon as heclick on the app that warranty has been received, payment option isenabled for him. He pay directly through the app which is linked tohis wallet. The order cannot be closed till all the amount has beenpaid. The lab closes the order if he receives all the payment andthe order is now archived.This same process can be used for ordering dental materials.Dentist had to interact with lab and suppliers on daily basis andthis app makes their transaction smooth and painless. This is veryhelpful for dentist managing multiple clinics. Dentist can see thecomplete list of lab and suppliers in his areas and add them totheir favourites.
