Manitoba Conservation and WaterStewardship, along with other partners, offer Manitobans theopportunity to experience nature while making valuablecontributions to the conservation of animal and plant species inthe province. Go Wild Manitoba, associated with the ManitobaConservation Data Centre, is a citizen-science monitoring effortdesigned to involve volunteers of all ages and interest levels ingathering scientific data on species of concern in Manitoba.Through the GO WILD MANITOBA projects, you can learn how togather data about various species found on public lands or on yourown property. Collected data is sent to biologists who use theinformation to gain a better understanding of the status andmanagement needs of various species. The goal of the program is toenable long-term conservation of these species and appreciationamong Manitoba citizens.

The Texas Nature Trackers Program coordinatescitizen science for the Wildlife Division of Texas Parks &Wildlife Department, and works with volunteers to increase ourunderstanding of more than 1000 of our most sensitive species ofplants and animals.
