Welcome to Auto GeoTagger, a toolthatautomatically geotaggs your photos with a GPXlogfile! What your problem is:• you own a camera which lacks a GPS module and thus cannotsaveyour current location to the photo's metadata• anyway, you would like to have your location saved toyourpictures (which is called "geotagging")What you need to solve it:• a GPX file, also called a GPS track log, which your phonerecorded(e.g. by "Open GPS Tracker") while you took photos withyour regularcamera• a folder with these photos which do not have GPS geocoordinates(latitude and longitude) in their metadataWhat you get:• your exact same photos but with the most appropriate geolocationswritten to their EXIF metadata• that lets you e.g. visualize photos of your last holiday trip onamap------------------------------------------------------------------------The tool writes the best locations from a GPX file to thephotos'EXIF data by matching the timestamps. This enables you to present your photos on a map or recallthelocation years after you shot it.Note that your photos and GPX waypoints need to havevalidtimestamps and your photos have to be in JPG or JPEGfileformat.1. step: Pick one or multiple folder(s) with photosandselect all photos you want to be geotagged.2. step: Pick one or multiple GPX file(s) and selectallwaypoints which should be included in the geotaggingprocess.Tip: You can record a GPX file easily with "Open GPS Tracker"orsimilar apps.3. step: Click the "Do it!" button and enjoy.Tip: Set a maximum time difference between GPX waypoint'sandphoto's timestamp of 180 minutes to get accurate results.
