TVU Talk Show is a unique application based on TVUNetwork’sexisting TVU Anywhere app. This application has beendeveloped as aconvenient way for audience members from the generalpublic toeasily call-in to live video web-stream programs producedwith theTVU Producer cloud video production service. The TVU TalkShow appwill be used to allow members of the public to call-in tolive webstreaming productions produced with TVU Network’s TVUProducer.From an iOS device, they will be able to stream a livevideoconnection with hosts in order to conduct live discussionsandinterviews. In order for hosts to determine the location oftheparticipating audience when they call-in live to the program,theTVU Talk Show app reports the location information of theaudiencemember to the TVU Command Center web service. From here,Directorsand Producers can determine location information forproductionpurposes. Additionally, the TVU Talk Show will allow theuser totake a picture of themselves to submit for initial screeningpriorto inclusion in the program.
