Syskonf CheckPoint is an app for eventorganizers for event access control & zone / session check-in.It turns an Android device into a handheld proximity or opticalscanner to identify attendees at configured gates (checkpoints),display their entrance permission and check-in. The app is intendedfor Syskonf.com platform users.Syskonf CheckPoint supports:a) proximity tag equipped badges such as:✓ RFID plastic cards✓ RFID or NFC wristbands✓ RFID or NFIC stickers / labelsb) any other badges with one of following 1D or 2D barcodes printedon:✓ QR code✓ Data Matrix✓ PDF417 / Boarding Pass✓ EAN-13 barcode✓ Code 39✓ Code 128Proximity scanning is supported on Android devices with built-inNFC chip.Optical scanning requires Android devices with built-incamera.Event organizer may create any number of gates and use any numberof devices at each gate. The app allows to scan either attendeesentries or exit. Every pass is logged and synced to Syskonf serversover Wi-Fi or 3G/LTE connection every 30 seconds. In case ofnetwork failure or unavailability the app works in offline mode andsyncs after Internet connection is restored.Based on data gathered from all scanners, Syskonf constantlycalculates current number of attendees checked in or present inevery zone.
