Orifice Sizing Pro 1.2
PallaS
This Orifice Sizing Pro application providescalculation for correlating design, flow rate and pressure loss asa fluid passes through an orifice. Orifices are often used todeliberately reduce pressure, restrict flow or to measure flowrate. As flow passes through the hole it produces a pressuredifference across the hole (some of which is recovered). The platemust be sufficiently thin that over the range of permitted thicknessits thickness does not affect the discharge coefficient but thickenough not to be distorted by the forces imposed by the pressuredifference. The Orifice Sizing Pro can determine orifice diameter, orificeminimum thickness, beta ratio, line pressure drops, dischargecoefficient, non-recoverable pressure drop, Reynold’s Number forgas and liquids, calculates flowing density of gas and liquids, compressibility factor and specific heat ration of gas. The OrificeSizing Pro is specially designed to assist engineers for limitingthe flow which is the intended purpose of reducing the upstreampressure or the flow rate. Keywords: Orifice Sizing, Orifice Diameter Calculation, OrificeCalculation

Heat Exchanger Calculator Free 1.2
PallaS
The Heat Exchanger Calculator is basedonEffectiveness (ε) – NTU method. The inlet temperatures areknownand outlet temperatures are to be determined. The NumberofTransfer Units (NTU) Method is used to calculate the rate ofheattransfer in heat exchangers (especially countercurrentexchangers). The calculation formulas in this applicationarerefered from http://checalc.comKeyword: Heat Exchanger, Heat Exchanger Calculation, HeatExchangerAnalysis, Heat Transfer
Hydraulic Calculator Free 1.1
PallaS
This Hydraulic Calculator App is designed for calculation thepressure drop in the design of liquid, gas, two-phase fluidpipelines taking account of inline fittings (such as bends, valvesand so on) will be carried out. The friction factor is calculatedusing Poiseuille's equation for laminar flow and Colebrook'sequation for transitional and turbulent flows. The methods used forcalculation fitting pressure loss are Darby's 3K method as it givethe better curve fits for pressure loss vs K factor data forvarious fittings. Calculation and Features • Liquid: The densitydoes not change with pressure drop. It is also assumed that thetemperature drop is not significant to change the fluid densityappreciably. • Select Liquid & Gas from drop down list • Selectpipe schedule from drop down list • Select pipe material from dropdown list • Unit Conversion: Mass Flow Rate, Volume Flow Rate,Temperature, Pressure, Density. Keyword: Hydraulic Calculation,Pressure Drop, Pressure Loss, Fluid Flow

Pressure Relief Valve Free 1.0
PallaS
The Pressure Relief Valve SizingCalculatorapplication is used for calculation sizing of a pressurereliefused in refineries, chemical facilities and relatedindustries toable to vent any source of liquid so that the pressurewithin theprotected apparatus cannot exceed the maximum allowableoverpressure. Sizing for liquids relief largely follows the API RP520procedures.Features• Calculate pressure relief valve sizing for liquid.• Calculate the required sizing area, orifice sizing, pressurerelief valve capacity• Liquids can be selected from the list or custom propertiesfillfor calculation the sizing of a pressure relief valveofvapor• The unit of mass flow, volume flow, pressure, temperature, densitycan be selected. Keywords: Pressure Relief Valve Sizing, Pressure ReliefValveCalculation, Pressure Relief Valve, Safety Valve
