Cylinder Requalification LocatorThe Cylinder Requalification Locator allows you to search foranapproved cylinder requalifier. By entering a city/state orzipcode, this tool will provide a list of approvedcylinderrequalifiers including address, contact information, andtheauthorized testing methods and cylinder specifications fortheapproved entity. The web-based version may be accessedathttps://portal.phmsa.dot.gov/rinlocatorA person must meet the requirements of 49 CFR Sections107.805,180.211, and 180.212 to be approved to inspect, test,certify,repair, or rebuild a cylinder in accordance with aDOTspecification or a UN pressure receptacle under subpart C ofpart178 or subpart C of part 180, or under the terms of aspecialpermit issued under this part.

This app also provides online access toPHMSA’s Pipeline Safety Regulations in 49 CFR parts 190-199, whichprovide the Federal minimum safety standards for the design,construction, operation and maintenance, and spill responseplanning for pipeline and LNG facilities involved in thetransportation of natural gas and hazardous liquids within theUnited States.
