This is the newest version of my NIH strokescale app, meant to help experienced clinicians score the NIHstroke scale. It is not intended for diagnosis or treatment, but isintended to help experienced clinicians with scoring.This app was created by a neurologist. There was a prior version ofthis app, which was the first NIHSS app on the market and had over2000 downloads. Due to a change in computers I am unable to updatethat version, so I released this free version as my update based onfeedback from the original.. This version now includes the picturesand a breakdown of the score at the end.I am not a programmer by trade, I am a neurologist. I appreciateany feedback and reviews. This is a very simple program that lists thecriteria for giving a stroke patient IV tPA. This is simply areminder of the criteria, and is not meant to determine if apatient qualifies. It is in checklist format with a clear button soyou may go through the criteria individually to determine if apatient may qualify.
